All club equipment can be purchased or ordered from the Section Liaisons.
Equipment
Each girls is required to have her own:
Practive leotard (preferably a club Leotard)
Aluminium rod (available from the club for $4)
Pair of Wooden Clubs (available from the club for $22)
Practice skirt (preferably a club skirt)
Practice leotards and skirts can be purchased from the club for $10 and $12 respectively.
These are made by club personnel who will size and fit them to the girls on request.
Girls need to be sized to ensure that the rod and clubs are the correct size.
The club encourages it members to sell second hand items to younger members, in particular for expensive
items such as clubs. These second hand items are generally about half the price of a new item.
Tracksuits
Once every 6 – 12 months the club will arrange the bulk purchase of club jackets that many of the girls where
to training and competitions. The jackets are approximately $65 each but are not compulsory.
Badges
The club badge, based on the logo on the top of the web page, can be purchased from the club for $5. Badges are
often taken to national competitions and swapped with other competitors for their badges.
Costumes
Carine Club has a large wardrobe of costumes that are provided for the girls during competitions at a small hire
charge. The fancy routine costume is separate and paid for by the parents.
If made new, the girls then keep it. To enable costs to be kept to a minimum, it is essential
that voluntary help be provided by mothers with the making and renovating of theses costumes.
Busy bees are often held during class time or at other times during the week.
These costumes can also be hired by other clubs and individuals. For information please contact the
clubs Costume Coordinator.
